Is there an entry fee to get into the Taste of Elmwood Park?
No there is no entry fee to enter the grounds of the Taste.
All entrances are open to the public.
Can you bring outside food and drink?
No outside food or beverages are allowed on the Taste grounds. This includes coolers and or any other type of containers containing food or beverage. You will be asked to return to your car or your home with your items if they are brought onto the grounds.

How do I pay for food and drinks?
Each food vendor will only take cash for purchases. All drinks that includes soda, water, and alcoholic beverages will be purchased via tickets.
Ticket booths are on either side of the grounds. Tickets can be purchased with increments of 5 dollars. Purchasing tickets will be cash only and there are no refunds. ATM’s will be available for withdrawal of cash.
Are there restrooms available?
Yes! There will be multiple facilities on either end of the grounds and many handicap ones that are accessible. There also will be various hand washing stations.
Can I bring my bike or scooter?
We don’t allow any type of riding device unless it’d medically necessary.
Please park and lock up your bikes and scooters near the grounds and walk through.
This is for the safety of everyone attending the Taste!
How do I pay for the rides and games?
The carnival rides & games are not run by the Village of Elmwood Park or the Taste Event Coordinators.
Tickets are needed for the rides and a daily wristband may be offered.
What if I have a question while at the Taste?
There will be plenty of staff and officers available to answer any of your questions.
Please look for them and they will assist you.
Where do I park?
There will be parking for handicap along Fullerton Avenue before 75th Avenue. A Police Officer can direct you as you arrive on where to park.
We strongly advise on walking to the Taste as it will be the easiest way to get to and from your homes.
Parking is limited and please be advised cars will be towed in ordinance with any vehicles that disobey parking restrictions.
Public transportation is available and encouraged, via Metra. Metra has a stop at 75th Avenue and Grand which is directly in front of the Taste.
Take advantage of the the Shuttle Service. The pick ups happen at John Mills School, Parks and Recreation Center, and Elm Middle School.
Can I bring my animals with me to the Taste?
No unfortunately no animals, unless needed for a medical condition will not be allowed on the grounds. Please leave your pets at home and enjoy the great festivities.
